These networks consist of locations that together create a Zone that blankets a tourism driven area of a city. Locations consist of pubs, restaurants, hotels & cafes. Local businesses host the technology, and BlueZone City network provides links to their mobile pages in return. The Wi-Fi signals can be reached up to 100 meters from the source. This range allows for usage beyond the restaurant itself, and creates an outdoor network where sitting on the beach or a park bench can also provide you access to the content. The network is branded by the specific tourism area e.g: White Rock BlueZone or Whistler BlueZone.

This Zone consists of 3 technologies.

1/ Bluetooth - which sends video content to mobile devices within range.

2/ Wi-Fi (private and open pages) - Private Wi-Fi:  Prepared tourism content on privately accessed pages that mobile users pull when

Open or Free City Wi-Fi:  Providing free open internet for Zone visitors with branding and advertising for local business.

3/ City Application - An online application where all local businesses are categorized and display their products and services on mobile web pages. The Free City Wi-Fi guides users to the City App each time they log onto the system.

Our metrics provide in depth information including when and how often mobile users interact with specific content, and by what platform.
