Blue Jamb Media Wi-Fi Technology
Private Wi-Fi pages that host our content:
Each Bluetooth Access Point also has a Wi-Fi function that allows us to interact with Wi-Fi enabled mobile devices such as iPhones and Blackberries. This Wi-Fi function is not designed for users to gain access to the open internet, instead it is designed to provide Wi-Fi enabled mobile devices a way to gain access our content. This content is preloaded onto our Access Point, and then using the Wi-Fi feature on their mobile device, the content is streamed or downloaded, rather than receiving it through Bluetooth. Offering content through both technologies simply provides a wider rage of handsets to interact with.
Ad supported free, open Wi-Fi:
BlueZones also provide free open source Internet access to any visitors in close proximity to the BlueZone hotspot, via a unique ad supported Wi-Fi service. Users are required to complete a simplified registration to get online access. Full page advertisements with branded content are inserted every 5 to 12 page views during the users online session. These customized web pages can contain various formats including video and can contain links facilitating direct click-through to further web content while the user is online. Both the duration and frequency of the branded impressions are entirely scalable.
Currently, the average Wi-Fi session of a typical user in our café and city scape environment is 40 minutes, providing a great opportunity to get branded messages out to consumers. The user's unique access code will log them in and provide free Internet access at any BlueZone location around the country. The initial login survey gathers specific demographic information allowing targeted ad delivery. The service is highly measurable allowing us to report total impressions - unique and duplicates as well as length of engagement.
